Story
Halcyon Works asked for a space that would never compete with the art inside it. We designed a black-box gallery in a converted Boston warehouse, using darkness and precise spotlighting so every show feels like it was built for that exact room.
Overview
A black-box exhibition space for Halcyon Works, built to disappear behind the art it shows in a converted Boston warehouse.
Outcome
A disappearing black-box gallery that lets every Halcyon Works show take center stage.
Forecast
A modular lighting rig upgrade so Halcyon Works can rescript the room for larger touring exhibitions.
